My review date was the 2nd May 2014, and unlike in previous years it did not roll over on the day. I have the following message posted on my Account.

"We are currently assessing your activity over your membership year. You will still have access to your current benefits until 02 Jun 2014. Your new card will be with you shortly.

My interpretation of that is my review has been extended to 2 June 2014?? Anyone else have this issue???

No, your review date hasn't been extended, it will remain at 2nd May - you'll notice on your Velocity card that it states "card valid for one month after review date". This is to enable you to still be able to access the benefits applicable to your current status level until your account is assessed and your new card arrives. Everyone automatically gets the same message on their account these days when the review date comes up - it's apparently to allow time for any pending SCs and eligible sectors to come through so they can assess whether you will retain status or drop back a level. My husband had reached the SC and eligible sector requirements to retain Gold months before his review date, but he still received the same message at review time.

Thanks Jurahn, that explains it. :) I had already maintained Platinum prior to my Review Date. I just didn't recall this happening before
