Anyone had any luck getting VA to retroactively send SC across through family pooling?

In what can only be described as a massive SNAFU, Mr Albatross didn't have Mrs Albatross's family pooling, even though he had months to ensure it was all set.

Consequently after starting their RTW SQ journey and expecting to see himself with VA Gold this little family are both Red with myself being short 3 SC even for Silver and Mrs short the eligible sectors for Silver. Had the Family Pooling been set then I would be Gold. We wont be back in OZ until after the new rules kick in.

It's totally my SNAFU.

But, has anyone had luck seeking retroactive family pooling? The T&Cs say it doesn't happen.

Seems I will add to this body of knowledge and say no luck either. I did try.
