I have booked SYD > AHU > LHR on VA29 / VA 7011 for 3 weeks time and have chosen J seats for 1st leg (operated by VA) but cannot book for second leg (operated EY) even though its a VA fight. When I use the PNR from the first leg on the EY's manage booking site, it wont accept that PNR

Contacted Plat desk who advised it is the one PNR for both legs. Contacted EY who promised a a response within 3 days and that was a week ago. So it seems I cant book my seats or arrange for chauffeur on arrival in LHR as EYs site wont accept the VA PNR

Am I doing something wrong here?

Vinomofo is the best wine deals site on the planet. Good wines, real people and epic deals, without all the bowties and bs.

You have to book the chauffeur with VA, which means calling. As a FYI, make sure you have a backup plan to get to and from the airport - last time I booked the chauffeur service with VA, 3/4 legs the booking was never actually made and I was forced to get taxis (I tried chasing it with them afterwards, but VA didn't seem to care.)

Can you log in here with the EY PNR to select seats? Manage my booking

I always ring EY to choose my seat. Ph: 1300 532 215. Another thing I do is a dummy booking on the EY site (for same flight, time & departure date as VA flight) to get an idea of what seats are available on that flight before I ring EY as you get to select the seats before you need to pay. Once I have an idea of the seat/s I'm after I just click out of the dummy booking.

That's new - previously I wasn't able to do that if the flights were VA coded. If you've received a confirmation of the chauffeur booking, you should be set. :)
