Requesting Advice Regarding Business Class Pricing

We are pretty fortunate to have such quality hard products on the transpac route. If status is irrelevant, I would purely base my decision on price.

Regarding United, I would think the whole Polaris experience would be more valuable for a route e.g. LHR-ORD where there are dedicated lounges and flagship routes. I'm not sure if the Polaris lounge would be operational in LAX by the flight time.

A bit OT but if you don't have any A* status you could request a United challenge to get A* Gold based on this flight (NOTE: not certain on travel date restrictions for the challenge).
