Hi all

I was wondering anyone passing through SYD INt'l in the next couple of weeks would have time to visit the Tumi store for me.

I am just trying to check pricing and availability of a "Tumi T-Tech Empire - Leigh Top Zip Cross Body"

I am looking for a suitable carrier for the iPad that doesn't look like a handbag and is not so large that I am carrying extra bulk.

Any help would be appreciated.

Alternatively if anyone is in the US with chance to find a Tumi store, check the local price and email I would be more than happy to provide a bank transfer for the cost of purchase, shipping within Oz and a generous tip ;)

Cheers

I'm sure someone will go through sooner but I have Mum and Dad flying out of Sydney in about a week to the USA.

I will be there Tueday, see what i can do for you Simon.

I am happy with the IPAD cover from the Apple shop.It is a great fit and works good when you drop the device on the floor.
I use Tumi electrical plugs as they are the best and easiest to use.
Tumi luggage is much easier and much lower cost in Los Angeles at stores like Macys.

I totally agree and I am kicking myself at not getting one in the US a few weeks ago :(

@Sprucegoose - no number listed on the Tumi website but I will check the whitepages

EDIT

And nothing in the whitepages in terms of a number for them...

Thanks again - I thought there was a dedicated Tumi store - it seems not based on this... Strange that the Tumi site lists it as a Tumi store.

And there was me thinking this was a simple request...

Much appreciated - the iPad is starting to swing my hand luggage questions again - this will almost work as a "personal item" - i.e. a purse...

Simon,
Karens is correct. (9667.3721)

I just dropped by, they have a limited range, not exactly what you wanted, they have a few versions of the T-Tech Empire but not the Leigh Top Zip Cross exactly. Looks IPAD size though. The lady suggested buying online or in the states.

I hope that is of some assistance

Theone sones that were there were between $150--200

Thanks Spruce. I just checked the store in the city and they are $130. It is fractionally too short but with time it will probably give a little.

Hmm - good to know on some levels that I can't get one at the Airport so I will have to think about it.

Thanks again.
