As this event is supposedly regular, thought I'd start the thread to get discussion flowing.

Dates that probably work for us are 15th, 22nd and 29th. The 15th is the best for us as we will already be in Melbourne but happy to try and attend other dates.

As we fly out to Malaysia and Thailand tonight so I'm happy* for someone to pick this up and run with it.

*read that I would love someone to see this through.

Volunteers :?:

I dunno Bill. I reckon you're pretty good at organising Yum Cha's?

I will be in MEL on the 15th, flights booked so i could definitely come along (I'm thinking that this is a dinner event?). Happy to bring wine :)

Always lunch (for it to actually be Yum Cha)

I'm out of town the 8th and 15th.

Regular MEL Yum Cha Event [June 2014]

I won't be in town on the 15th and 22nd.
Maybe 29th...

The 29th is likely to be my only free Sunday.

Back in Town this month!

And having spent over two weeks in Japan improving my Chopstick handling skills (BTW I'm still no expect.... Just saying) I'm already pumped up for another bout of AFF Yum Cha in Melbourne!

What date is firming up?

Im away from today but back by 29th so I'm a goer for 29th.
Cool Cat Phil, you may have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth but I was born with bamboo chopsticks in my grasp :D I doubt you'll be able to keep up! I'll challenge you to chicken feet at ten paces.

I think your right, you would win the Chopstick Challenge! I'm still on L plates when it comes to using chopsticks with speed & procession.:p

Tentative / Copper

I will be in Melbourne, but already looking like a very full weekend.

If this invitation is open to new members I could make it on this day as I will be in MEL.
i can also recommend two possible good yum cha places in CBD, HuTong dumpling bar, or Oriental Teahouse.
