Reduction in Amex lounge benefits

I intend to cancel this card on the day before my annual fee is due, however my accor+ explorer expires at the end of that month. Any experiences on what happens to the Accor+ membership? Does it get cancelled immediately (I.e. I need to have redeemed my stay plus nights before I cancel my Amex Plat)?

May be worth looking into the T&C and seeing how the dates line up given that it states

You may be entitled to a pro rata refund of your Annual Card Fee if you contact us to end your Agreement in the following circumstances: you cancel this Agreement for any reason within 30 days of the Card Annual Fee being charged.

The PP change is definitely a cost saving measure by Amex, so now we cant fit a family of 3 using PP so I am fairly annoyed at this.

Sydney and Hong Kong is not much of an issue due to Cent lounge, my only option would be plaza premium going forward.
With the new changes coming, with 1 X Amex platinum personal can I guest 1 adult and my 15 year old daughter? I.e family of 3 into the centurion lounge?

pretty sure your stayplus reset each year and if you don't use then you lose them.

Thanks. Can my daughter get in without an additional card ? To the cent lounge. I.e can my primary card take in a child under 18 and 1 adult guest?
I think it depends on the lounge.

Currently, the Australian Centurion Lounges say this:

Guest Policy

Consumer Platinum, Business Platinum, Corporate Platinum, and Additional Platinum Card Members may bring up to two (2) complimentary guests plus children under 18. For any additional guests over the limit of two complimentary guests, there is a $65 AUD fee for each guest 18 and over and $40 AUD fee for children 17 and under. For full terms and conditions click the links below.
The post 8 July rules don’t mention the children under 18 exemption.

Thanks. So based on that the child exemption has been removed….
