Redemption Competition - 500,000 QFF points email

Received what appears to be a targeted promotion tonight for a chance to win 500,000 QFF points. All I had to do was meet the following conditions:
'To enter the competition, you must (a) be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member that is an Australian or New Zealand resident, (b) are sent an email from Qantas Frequent Flyer inviting you to enter the promotion, (c) register for the promotion by clicking on the link contained in this email.'

Pretty easy competition to enter.
Also I noted the value
'The notional total prize value is AU$4,428 as at 13 July 2013, based on the recommended retail value of the Qantas Frequent Flyer reward options that could be obtained by redeeming Qantas Points through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program'
.
Seems a bit low!

The valuation of the points is 0.8856 c/pt, which I think about what a a non-marginal YASA goes for. Of course no-one on AFF would redeem them at that rate

If this is the email with the subject line 'Imagine what you can do with 500,000 Qantas Points...' then I received it last Friday afternoon. I assumed it had gone to everyone as it didn't appear to be targeted based on any obvious parameters. The only thing I found odd was that when I clicked 'Enter Now' to register for the competition, it just immediately loaded a landing page saying thanks for entering, I didn't actually have to fill out any details etc... So definitely the easiest competition in a long time!!!

FWIW I think it would be a good idea to be already logged in on QF website prior to registering.......I've noticed with DSC offers if you are logged in the registration screen shows your details. May mean nothing.....
