I'm trying to book flights from Doha to UK for a relative. I cant get Doha to 'populate' in the FROM section of the booking engine. If I dummy book LGW-DOH return it shows flights but when I try to do the opposite, Doha will not come up. Has anyone else had the same problem?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yes, I've had this sort of thing before.

You can make the booking by phone though.

To check available before phoning, you can use the multi city search with a segment prior to Doha.

aa.com (US website) is another useful one to check availability. Don’t even need to login but AA is free to join also.

I have a similar issue and need assistance. I am trying to look for avaikabity from ZAG-PER on QF website - flying with QR. ZAG doesn’t come up as a departing city.
This is for Sept 2022.
I have been able to book the reverse successfully-PER-ZAG in QF website flying QR. Appreciate any help with this.

You will need to call Qantas to book this. It's not possible to book award flights on the QF website that originate in quite a lot of countries unfortunately as the website doesn't support payments in the local currency. This includes Croatia. (I would refer you to post #4 of this thread for more on this well-known issue.)

To check award availability before calling, search for PER-ZAG as a return trip (using a random date for the outbound leg) and whatever availability you see for the inbound ZAG-PER leg should be available to book over the phone.

Thank you - will follow this advice :)

Go to the multi-city tool on the QF website

For the first leg add a dummy ie SIN-DOH then for the second leg add the DOH-LHR

This is just for availability checking, then when ready to book you need to call QF

Yep - but make sure that you leave at least a few days between the first and second legs. Otherwise it may show availability on the DOH-LHR leg that relies on the SIN-DOH connection with married segments.

Just noticed the same thing. Looking on AA website for August next year there are multiple seats in Business, however Im looking at Australia-Europe. Via Qantas only the one. Hope they fix this. Also when will redemption appear for Europe-Australia via Qatar with international opening soon?

It already is appearing.
Qatar availability opens up 361 days in advance.
I have just booked CDG-DOH-SIN for Sep 2022 in J on Qatar

Yes 2 seats on the QF web site as part of a Qantas OneWorld Award 318k
I've definitely seen QR availability similarly on the Qantas website, the part I've personally never seen yet is anything to or from Australia. For example LHR-DOH-NRT or LHR-DOH-SIN seems to bring up availability. But nothing on LHR-DOH-MEL. That's the case even when sometimes BA or AA's search tool have thought there was availability on the leg to Australia.

DOH only seems allowed as an origin point if you put it as the second or later flight in a multi-city award booking (weird Qantas!)
