Hi All,

I have a stack of Krisflyer points and want to go to Bangkok in Business Class. There are not many SQ flights via SIN without bad layovers so hence I want to get a MEL-BKK on TG as they are star alliance I think it should be possible.

Do their flights appear online to book or do you need to call the call centre to find availability and book?

Has anyone had experience booking TG with Krisflyer? Strange I saw there was a request form to fill our and send in which seems very archaic and wonder what airlines could be available if you used this however!! But based on how tough availability is I would be surprised the one you wanted and wrote on the form was ever available hence a waste of time.

Thanks!

Are you sure?

There's daily MEL-SIN-BKK itineraries available with only a 2 hour layover, or if you want more time in SIN then there's a 4 hour option too:

Thanks MathNerd, was looking a bit earlier. Do you know if TG flights ever appear?

In my limited experience looking for award TG J seats, I've found only Y seats to be released as awards to SQ.
Around when are you looking?
Also keep in mind that TG is slowly recommencing services between AU and BKK so availability will be very scarce, if any at all!
