Red Planet Portal Points Earned

Same, had about a million entries into the draw, no idea who ever wins it though!
Apparently no one here? Which is extradiinary!

PS or do I vaguely recall someone fessing up to winning a draw?

I asked the question if an AFF ever won & someone did put their hand up, they've posted it twice, the 50k points prize.

51k points my total.

I get a bit can't be bothered sometimes.

I couldn’t remember if I dreamt it…! 😁

You‘d think any of the regulars here would post that before they told their BFF(s)….

I stopped doing the whole thing a while back because I earn 40-60K points a month just through the business amex and can't do anything with the damned things. Every survey just got to be the same old tedium and took so long to do each time.

Question for someone with better maths skills than me: How long would one need to spend doing surveys within a single membership year to qualify for Points Club?

points club requires 150,000 points per year. The red planet surveys provide ~10 points for each minute of a survey (eg a 20 min survey is 200 pts). So you would need 15,000 minutes of surveys or 250 hours.

and that assumes you qualify for each and don’t get tossed out with 15 pts.

I scored ~15k last membership year from about 140 surveys and about 69-70% hit rate….

If you assume ~90 sec to do the first few questions and then get kicked out, the maths still holds….

Yes. My comment was more about the (im)practicality of getting PC from RP surveys. But 15k or more per membership year is a good start.

Thanks. Actually, that's the same number I came up with when I was pondering it some more after posting. That's 31 days of working 8-hour days just doing surveys!

I'll have to think of a better way to earn Qantas points while I'm living overseas...

Raising this thread from the dead, but finally, after maybe 4/5 years of being a member of Red Planet, I hit the six figure threshold today, 100,050 total earned 😂
