Had a bit of a brainwave tonight - the pizza kit packaging is too big and you get a lot more in the freezer if you remove the cardboard!

I've taken to removing one layer of packaging to get all my targeted offer bounty into the freezer.

Okay, quick review.

I like the box design. Very catchy. Inside are 3 plastic packets with the sauce in them. I'm not sure why this delivery method was chosen over a bottle, but it is more accurate I suppose.

As I was cooking sausages my method was different to the box, but I basically smothered the snags and put them in the oven, turning over time.

Immediately my nostrils filled with the smell of chutney when opening the packet. It's a good smell, and when cooked was a good taste too. I was reminded a little, not a lot, of Branston Pickle.

At 3 servings per box for $4.99 it wasn't a bad deal. I may buy some more. Certainly better than the smokey hot sauce.

I may be following your example soon ;)

And the samosa's fit better when emptied into every traveller's best friend - the zip lock bag! Its the only thing that has helped with the ever growing freezer space issues ;)

Glad I'm not alone in my insanity everyone. Although I must admit I was a little embarrassed when the fruits (or rather frozen goods) of my labour were discovered.

Does anyone know if the sauce requires refrigeration?

To hell with it, I found a store with 10 boxes of chilli con carne... Bought them all, plus 2 boxes of pizza bases. ;)

I was surprised to see yesterday that the Rib Sauce was made in Malaysia. I hadn't noticed where the other products were made. Perhaps those with the stashes can report!

Pizza base and Chilli con carne made in Australia. Pizza base made with local and imported ingredients. Chilli con carne doesn't say where the ingredients come from.

I chucked our ribs (beef) in the slow cooker with the sauce sachets today.

Delicious.

I just used the sauce on a roast lamb leg and chicken wings. They were tasty, but I've got a easy recipe somewhere for jerk chicken which I prefer over the sauce.

I think it would be very good on ribs though.
