I'd recommend the Westin if you're after an upper class modern business type hotel (their roof pool is awesome and it's in a great location). Or if you're after something a bit more boutique-y and special, I really loved the New Majestic hotel which can also be booked via Starwood (though avoid the really small rooms- it's worth calling the hotel to specify which room you want, every single one is different).

Umm. Is this a joke or a typo? Fullerton hotel, Marina Bay Sands, or Fullerton Bay?
I prefer the Fullerton as it has a beautiful club lounge.

Opps :) I meant The Fullerton Bay Hotel. A Bay View Room.

bumping this as have another stay next month. has anyone had much luck with BRG's at any of the big chains? can't stomach the 'rack rate' but keen to expand the list of hotels to try.

I can't comment much on BRGs - but if you're looking for good savings on the big chains, I've found that Amoma.com has been running some very cheap rates for SIN hotels lately. Significantly cheaper than any other booking site which I looked at for my travel dates, and they often have -10% promo codes floating around which they even allow you to use on the big chains (unlike most other booking sites, which don't let you use their discount codes on many of the big chains).

Ended up booking both my hotels through them for my upcoming July jaunt through SIN and KL. Extremely pleased with the prices I got - A$205/nt incl breakfast for the Grand Hyatt in KL and A$180/nt incl breakfast for the Oasia Downtown in SIN - using a -10% promo code for both. (Most other sites had each of these hotels listed at approx $270 without bfast for my dates).

N.B. from what I've read on Flyertalk, some of the big chains have knocked back Amoma for BRG claims, claiming it to be a "membership" website (...which it actually isn't..!).

I love the Marina Bay Sands. The rooftop pool is amazing. The rooms are lovely and spacious.

Anyone stayed at St.Regis? Looking at going in early Jan 2018 and all my regular choices are a bit expensive atm.

We like Mandarin Oriental usually, but are staying at the Intercontinental in Bugis for a change of scenery in July.

I haven't stayed there personally, but have a mate who lives in Singapore who highly recommends it.

Me 3 Maureen - something about swimming a mile in the air - and the lounge with the views - truly torn between MBS and Raffles - truly torn.

Hi Cruiser Elite Any suggestions on where to get the best price for a stay at MBS looking at the Club room option - is a surprise for my partner to finish our singapore trip off in early July. Found the best price is direct to hotel any other suggestions?

Yes direct with hotel seems cheapest I have been able to find. We are actually spending a night in MBS on June 19 - I booked that through Amex Travel to use a $400 Explorer Travel Credit - club room through Amex was about $50 odd more expensive than direct but I wanted to use the TC.

We spent last nt in MBS and it was just fabulous - room was huge - Exec Lounge Champers icy cold (Piper but still real Champs) - all staff from arr to dep sensational - and that pool - did I mention how good that pool is?

Pardon my ignorance - what is the difference between the Fullerton Hotel and the Fullerton Bay Hotel?

If all you were looking for was a good lounge and a pool which between the two would you choose?

Fullerton Hotel is a 4* a very nice hotel that highlights the old building that houses it. The Fullerton Bay hotel would be my choice, a gorgeous place, great pool, great views, great food.
