I liked the tweet from Qantas on this - they confirmed 'baby rats' were found and assured us that 'this is not a usual occurrence.' Don't know what's funnier, their qualification that these were baby rats (oh, how cute!) or that rats in the galley is not a usual occurrence, for those who thought it might actually be something that happens all the time.

With the record rainfall in eastern Australia it is well known that there is a rat and mice plaugue at the moment - they get everywhere and anywhere. So not too surprising.
