Hi there, looking to burn some points on a J flight from Rarotonga, Cook Islands to Seoul, which is 35k of points, but also discovered that RAR to Japan is only 20k points in J.... After searching alot of the J flights from RAR to KIX and NRT etc.. almost all of them go through ICN. Is it possible to ditch the final ICN-NRT/KIX flight and clear immigration in ICN? Availability in J is plentiful, and most go through NZ, Singapore etc which is a win for me, as i get more time in J :)

Thanks in advance

If you had luggage you would obviously need to have it checked through only to ICN.

If it's a one way ticket then it shouldn't be an issue, but if it's a return ticket then not flying the final ICN-NRT/KIX sector would mean you forfeit the rest of the flights including return.

It is just a one way flight, which I think would work, providing a short check just to ICN... What are everyone's thoughts on a UA 3 month status match for my travel date, do you think it would be beneficial for flight changes etc?
