I am planning a trip all the way to GREENLAND in July of this year.
Looking at seats.aero, it appears that random partner airlines are offering some redemptions from Northern Europe through to Greenland.
I paid US $161 to buy 11,250 points (125% bonus points) and then paid 10,500 points + $96 for a one way flight from Reykjavik (Iceland) to Ilulissat (Greenland). So US $257 or somewhere south of $400 Australian total.
The corresponding minimum cash fare price on Icelandair was a much less appetising $670 US.
Now I just need to find a way of not going bankrupt in Ilulissat......

We went to Ilulissat from KEF on a 28 seat Dash 8 in winter some years ago and it was the most amazing flight I've ever been on. It was more like a joy flight and I sat glued to the window the whole way. Once we reached Greenland we followed the Jakobshavn Glacier, which we eventually went dogsledding on. Totally awesome. Hopefully it's as great in summer and you have a fantastic time!

Let's just hope I stay alive then, until the date that I even leave Melbourne.

I wanted to get back on track, and ask are any of you aware of any other "sweet spot" points manipulations overseas?
