Radisson to open a Perth presence

Radisson Perth, operated by Mandala Hotels and Resorts, will launch within the landmark Sydney Charles Quarter in West Perth, marking the group’s Western Australia debut.

The upscale 120-key hotel is expected to open later this year, and being developed by APPL Group will form a key part of the mixed-use SCQ development which will include residential, commercial and lifestyle elements, the group announced at AHICE Asia Pacific.

The hotel will feature a mix of rooms and studios, rooftop bar and restaurant, meeting spaces and swimming pool will focus on guest engagement through art and curated experiences.

I had to Google where Sydney Charles Quarter in West Perth is, even after having lived in West Perth previously. What many don't realise is West Perth extends to the northern side of the freeway. So this hotel will actually be closer to Northbridge and not that conveniently located Google Maps There's a lot of new development going on in that area (used to be light industrial almost), so by the time this opened this might be a lot better.

Also, is it just me, or does this pool area not look overly exciting?
