Quick start on status ?

Like any good AFF member I don't like to start my status at the bottom tier if it can be avoided ...,,

So I am off ti Dubai and staying in a Starwood property. Any promotions / codes ti get me started on a higher status level than the base one?

Do they status match? I am gold in Le club Accor program.
I'm also platinum with Virgin if that helps ?

Any tips or ideas greatly appreciated... Mal

Why would you not take the HH Diamond offer as a DJ WP and use that (assuming the PC option was not taken)

A Russian visa card that gives you Hilton Gold.....

A World MasterCard (apparently). My own CBA card is Gold, not Diamond. See this thread:

Yes, I think the world mastercard might be the easiest way to go. I noticed SPG gold as a benefit when checking out the Diners+Mastercard product recently.

Firstly, *wood won't match you just based on status, of have to prove that you have qualified. As such, any complimentary Hilton stats via VA won't work. The Accor program is rather pathetic (in terms of benefits) and was offered free recently.

Secondly, Dubai *wood properties are renowned for mostly having 'limited' or no SPF participation. Check the property website. Those that do participate, don't tend to offer much.
