I'm considering an itinerary that gets me into Dubai at 1945 on Emirates (from London) and away again at 2140 on Singapore Airlines (to Brisbane).

Is this too tight, and will I have to claim/recheck bags?

Many thanks.

Out of interest, why not go EK direct to BNE? As presumably SQ goes via SIN?

Sounds tight with no interlining.

You're right, it is a pain to change airlines midway. Reason is a client is paying for J as far as Dubai, I wanted to go on to the UK and back on my own $ (in Y).

Having spent the last hour trawling through timetables, I will probably request SQ outbound and EK back as this gives the most convenient flight times - even if more expensive.
