Hi as mentioned in another thread, I will be flying for the first time on EK, and thus also the first time in their J product. Can my fellow AFFer's give me an idea of what to expect versus SQ, QF, BA etc. Specific questions;

Do EK provide J pax with PJ's as per QF?
Is their anything that is a must try onboard?

Good wines- try a few
Cool video games, car games in the J lounge in Dubai !

Well, if you flew on the A380 ex-SYD, you could give the bar a good workout.

Expect SQ. Don't expect BA QF.

I've only flown on the Emirates 380 in J across the Tasman a few times, so only short trips....

... but long enough to ogle the bar at the end of the cabin. Looks like a great way to stretch your legs and get a change of scenery when travelling long haul.

Given the short nature of my trips, I haven't managed to make the effort to get there yet :) Too busy enjoying the rather private nature of the J seats. I like that if you are travelling solo you can get a "cubicle" with no one else in your face, but if travelling with someone else you can get two seats that are much friendlier.

They have lots of great booze, pretty good inflight entertainment. Not too sure about the warm drinks that each J seat gets.... rather have cold ones thanks!

I note that the lounge in AKL is way better stocked than the QF one..... makes QF look pretty sad and tight actually.....
