Question- upgrade promption on intl N fare economy

Hi guys.

I put in a request for upgrade during a promotion period on otherwise ineligible fare types.

I need to change one of the flights...will they let me keep my request.

Anyone got. Any experience with this?

I have no experience in doing such - I fear you'll lose the opportunity to request.

Having typed that, maybe by politely asking when you rebook (using Qantas premium) may have a result. The operators do seems able to put requests in manually.
