That's what I thought. Usually "that's what it says in the computer, Sir" is enough for most people. ;)
Most people, but not BA. I wonder what would happen if you tried to access a BA lounge....

Have QF actually sent you a QP card?

BA are notorious for not allowing access unless you can produce the card (despite what it says on the boarding pass).

No BA trips planned in the next 3 months, so can't comment on that one. Only QPs (plus the Sakura Lounge in SFO) will be visited, so I'm expecting the computer status to be sufficient.

As for the new card(s?), as I am in the LOTFAP, I expect it will be a few weeks before it arrives. I have no travel till late Dec, so it should get here in time. Otherwise printouts and haggling will have to do. ;)

My new Lifetime Gold card arrived about 3 weeks into the new membership year ... and that delivered in Australia.

Ugg, let's hope I get it a little earlier than that.

QF have confirmed that I have a 'proper' membership of the QP till the end of Jan 08. They regard it as an QP extension due to my dropping from SG to PS. So all good.

Very good of them, indeed. Are they sending you a card to indicate the membership?

My (silver) pack arrived today, 18 days into the new membership year. Seeing as it had to cross an additional 7500 odd miles - not too shabby. Usual silver guff + a QP card expiring end Jan 08. Handle the Chrissie trip back to Oz just nicely. Nice one QF.

Now to convince work to send me somewhere so I can reclaim gold for the next flight back home.
