Well it doesn’t happen often but that bottle was tainted. All 6 of us drinking it agreed the nose was musty and the taste was front of tongue, Vinegared. Time to get the replacement bottle - going up to The Laird

Happy happy days. The Laird was the replacement and was sublime. They’ve ordered a second bottle and I'm back inside for the 3rd

Phew, that’s an expensive shout. They’re onto another Torbreck’s The Laird and I’m back out watching the cricket. My wallet is thanking me, although I’d love to have stayed inside.

Hazelwood plays all around a straight ball from Ali, bowled for 6. 9/298. Rousing cheer for Lyon from the Australian supporters, derision from the Poms

So Lyon finally succumbed and that will help Smiths batting average. 26 ahead. If you’d given odds to Smith this morning that we were going to lead after the first innings, I’m sure he’d have grabbed them with both hands.

England back in batting. Now we have 18 overs to try and get at least 1 wicket tonight

A brute of a ball from Starc has hit Root in the helmet and broke off some of it. Having a bit of a break to collect his thoughts.

LOL I was about to ask if you saw him there.... he was on the lunchtime TMS interview with Aggers and he talked about being in the QCC.
I was looking for him during the rest of the day but didn't see him again. He said he was here to do a series and the producers had invited him. Saw him at the Corporate entry point, so he was seated for lunch and the game in different area to me. My wife and I loved him in Hornblower and I saw him in Fantastic 4 and we had just watched him in Liar. Plus my step M-i-L comes from Wales (Pontypridd), not far from where he grew up, so he was impressed I knew.

We'll claim him as a Queenslander too: Ioan Gruffudd on Twitter
