QFlyer cheap fares to North America

I received an e-mail from QFlyer offering cheap fares to North America - did some searches on their site as well as QF, Google Flights and AC (ex-SYD) and found there are some good deals through 2024 - YVR seems the cheapest at around $A6000 return flying AA (via LAX), AC (on a few dates) and ANA (long layover). AA to LAX and SFO also had some excellent prices. Maybe there is a ray of sunshine as far as recent sky-high fares go.

Capacity continues to be added to Transpac route. Combine with weak AUD driving down leisure travel to the US and I think we'll see some great fares to the US next year.

Just seen $1100 Y fares to the US on UA advertised this morning. That's getting down to pre-COVID levels, especially when you take into account inflation.

This is cool. Expect to still pay an Australia tax vs departing Asia, but hopefully we continue to see fares drop
