Qantas flyer program to stay | NEWS.com.au Business

From the article:
THE consortium proposing to buy Qantas Airways for $11.1 billion says the deal will have no impact on the airline's frequent flyer program.
The Airline Partners Australia (APA) group, led by Macquarie Bank and US private equity firm Texas Pacific Group, also repeated that it had no plans to break up Qantas (qan.ASX:Quote,News).

I think this has been APA's story all along. LIke any business these things can be reviewed (as the current management have said), but this would be true regardless of the takeover or not.

Yeh.. I wouldn't be suprised if what happens, is completely different to this :)

Yes! From what I have been researching the majority of the press has been against this private equity group and their planned takeover.

I think this topic has been speculated to death and does not require further publicity. Let the demolition commence....
