QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

I am working on getting flights to from London/Paris as part of a OWA next year. It sure is problematic getting award seats, but I have been successful getting some, travelling to Europe via the USA, on British Airways and Finnair.

Can anyone explain this – I know they are not likely to all released yet but I have been able to find flights released on Qantas LAX-MEL up to and including 30 April 2027, but its been 5 days since I have been checking, and nothing has appeared from the 1 May and onwards. (It’s not the IATA Northern Summer Season 2027 (Which starts Sunday, March 28, 2027).

I am interested because I have had some success, in years past, finding business “sale” fares this far out and sometimes had seats released.

Maybe I am just being impatient, but, up to now, the flight schedule seems to be updated on a daily basis. Maybe I am missing something.

Thanks for that,
Was the revenue fare "business sale" ?
Booking Class I is Business sale. It's best to check a 3rd party site as "Business Sale" doesn't just mean booking class I, and booking class I is the prerequisite for Platinum release internationally.

Qantas for quite a while now does batches. So at some point most of May will pop up all at once.

I suspect its purely a recently new revenue philosophy targeting those that need to book 11-12 month in advance (as soon as tickets open) and getting them to pay premium to lock in early as soon as it opens. The sales will inevitably come later, even potential regular CR releases.
