QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

a couple of the flights I was looking at were I9, It was the manual review that was a No for every flight in that period. I’m sure the droid may still be saying yes to some dates.
Just got 2 x J Syd to DFW released. Supplied 2 dates that computer would release , took 28th Feb. Other option was the 26th Feb( Feb) so could still be up for grabs.

I’m going to Japan next week, not Dallas next year.

What do people say or/do when they get denied on flights +/- 3 days with multiple i category seats?

Should I ask for a manual review? Do I say "I actually see multiple i category seats on my platform"?

Manual review is only for P1. Otherwise, it’s luck of the draw. Just because inventory is there doesn’t mean they’re willing to open it up for you.

No luck for 4 pax in F or J in June from SIN>SYD>BNE loads were A9I9, understandable.
Got Y for SIN>BNE direct instead.

Is there a best time to call to get better agents (e.g. weekdays / business hours) or does it not really matter since it's all being fed into a computer anyway?

Makes no difference what time or day you call, all depends on the droid.

If you’re P1 and want a quick manual review don’t call on the weekend because you’ll have to wait till Monday to get a response.

CLPO have a different set of "rules" to P1.

I'm not sure there is? Back in January, a CLP1 tried to request J seats to Japan over Christmas and the agent refused to even send the request for manual review due to the "black out". Tons of D & I availability at the time.

Blackout dates apply to everyone.

In another P1 group a few years ago, someone posted the different fare classes required for CLPO, P1, WP, CL to request. I can't find that post now, but there was a definite difference and pecking order, which is not unexpected.
