I assume by Pines it means Royal Pines?

I'll have to look out for that, but didn't get an invite, not that I'd be in contention for anything but last place :p

It's probably The Pines at Sanctuary Cove, which is next to The Palms

That would be correct, historically the Pines has not been available to play unless you were staying at the resort or an owner, versus the Palms which was available for casual play.

Some more details on the package.

Both the Pines and Palms are in excellent condition.
I tend to play more on the Palms now as the redesigned layout is quite difficult.

Haven't been to Hope Island for years, but always a challenge especially when the wind is blowing.

This was discussed with Qantas loyalty at the lunch earlier this year.

I don't think I got the invitation but a little too expensive for 3 games of golf.

We’re very excited about the inaugural Qantas Golf Challenge, and would like to extend the invitation to all Qantas Frequent Flyer members. Please see this link for details.

Remember to keep your profile preferences updated so we can send you invitations to future exclusive events such as this.

Hope to see you there! :)

If you were giving say 10 QFF points per stroke I'd be very keen. My average for 9 holes is better than Bradman's. ;)

Not this time...

However I'll let the team know to consider a cricket related event next time. AFF's XI has a nice ring to it! :)
