Traveling to LHR on QF1 (return QF2) with wife and three teenage children. I am the only QFF (gold) member. What are my chances of getting access to lounges for myself and family in Sydney/Dubai and London.

Thanks in advance

You might be lucky in Sydney but depends on who is on the door....from qantas website:

[h=2]Families[/h]Qantas Lounges welcome you when travelling together with your family. In addition to your normal guest allowance you may also bring up to two children, between ages 4 and 17, into lounges operated by Qantas. Children aged 3 years or under are not counted as guests for the purpose of determining the number of guests of the member. If you are travelling with more than two children, the Qantas lounge manager will try to accommodate them, subject to reviewing the space available in the lounge

Was in HNL last year
Im QC. Asked really nicely and got my family of 4 in (all adults). HNL is a small lounge (50 pax) but hey allowed it noting that if they got busy hey may ask us to vacate the extra.

But we were all good. As deejo77 said its up to the person at the door and how busy they were

Once turned up a MEL domestic with 2 colleagues on Friday Arvo. Was turned down as only allowed one guest and they were really busy. We just went and walked around in the terminal.

So up to how busy and the people at the door.
