I've been searching for a table that shows the fare class and how many QFF points you earn when flying on AA.

Can anyone help me out

That table is still as clear as mud in regards to SCs earned.

Take note that even though BHKY earn 1 QFF point per mile only Y earns full economy SCs and BHK are classed as discount economy for SCs.

Are you sure about that JohnK? I thought the SC rate depends on the base rate, which gives full economy SCs for all of BHKY.

I've not flown on AA B, H or K, so can't verify this, but I imagine there's a legitimate argument to be made to QFF if they deny full economy SCs on any of those fares.

I have had this argument with the QFF service centre in Melbourne.

On AA, you will only get Full Economy status credits for "Y" flights.

I have found that booking a full economy flight with AA sometimes goes into "B" which is still fully flexible, fully refundable and fully whatever you want to do with it but those are the rules.

Interestingly, if you have a TA who knows what they are doing, if booking a QF issued ticket with some AA travel at the USA end, they can forceably up the AA component into "Y" on Premium Economy Fares - whether T (sale), R (middle range) or W (fully flexible) fares BUT they must put the USA flights onto AA flight numbers and NOT QF codeshare which only lets them go as high as "B".

Absolutely sure. The base rate for QFF points and SCs is as confusing as ever and is not the same.

- For international flights, including eligible partner airlines, only "Y" earns fulls economy SCs.
- For QF domestic flights BHKY earn full economy SCs.

for those that would like validation from the Qantas site

Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Status Credits

For domestic flights within Australia, Qantas Discount Economy includes Super Saver (classes L, M, S, V) and Red e-Deal (classes E, N, O) fares, Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards booked in X class, and fares booked in G or Q classes. For international flights, Qantas Discount Economy includes classes B, E, G, H, K, L, M, N, O, Q, S, V and W, and Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards booked in X class.

For domestic flights within Australia, Qantas Economy includes Fully Flexible (classes Y, B, H) and FlexiSaver (class K and W). For international flights, Qantas Economy is class Y. For travel on oneworld Alliance airlines or Air Pacific, Economy is class Y. For flights on Jetstar, Economy includes travel on Jet Flex fares. For flights on British Airways, Economy includes travel on World Traveller Plus fares. If you fly on a Flight Upgrade Award you will receive Status credits for the fare class originally purchased.

Note: domestic travel within Australia on eligable flights other than Qantas , only Y will earn at the full economy rate

ergo

QF Domestic flights within Australia , BHK = Full economy rate
SC eligable flights on JQ = Full economy rate
SC eligable flights in Y = Full Economy rate
All other SC eligable flights in economy class = Discount Economy rate

That is because that table is not the table to be used for SC's.

The points earning table is at
Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions

The SC earning table is at
Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Status Credits

They are not the same table and should not be confused.

I understnad but I feel Qantas has confused the issue by adding "Status Credits are earned on all eligible booking classes" in the points earning table. People then look at the classes earning QFF points and expect that to equate to the relevant SCs.
