Hi all,
My name’s Clare from Victoria and I’ve just joined today.
I’ve been collecting QFF points for a few years and aim to use them for a family of 5 international trip to CA and/or USA.

I’ve joined today after hearing about this group and seeing lounge posts.

I’ll be travelling Melbourne to Canberra on Saturday (returning Tuesday).

Hi and welcome to AFF.

Taking a family of 5 on QFF points will need some planning. The key rules are be flexible (with dates and maybe departure point and routing) and book as early as you can.

For lounge admittance, someone may offer one, but you can also go to the 'lounge meets' thread: Lounge Meets October 2019 (you can post a request or respond to an offer) or, on the day, 'I'm in the Qantas lounge' thread: I'm in the QF Lounge thread AFF members might be able to guest you in. :)

Please note that asking for a lounge pass or offering to buy one is against the rules here. As above, feel free to advise when you’re travelling and someone may be able to offer.

Thanks for the welcome guys, and for highlighting the rules.
I did see the lounge post, which is why it didn’t cross my mind to post in my welcome. I’ll check there on Saturday.

Thanks to for the tips when booking our family holiday!
