QFF Awardstore Redemption Wait Time

Hi All,

I redeemed some points on a camera and the order status hasn't moved from 'Issue' for two weeks now. Before I contact Qantas I thought you lovely people might be able to tell me whether this is common or not. I understand that delivery can take 10 days (why I don't know, but that's another topic), but is a two week lead time typical?

Welcome to AFF temporary_member; :D

Reports indicate the rewards store is very variable in delivery; some things may take many weeks, other reports indicated some purchases have arrived almost immediately.

If the item was in stock it is likely you would have had it by now - perhaps they are waiting for a delivery from their supplier. Perhaps they are waiting for enough camera orders to make it cost effective to order from their supplier in the first place.
