Cathay did it again. On 30/04/2025, I used Qantas points to book a Classic Reward flight on the Qantas website from BNE to HKG in December. Taxes were paid, points were deducted, and I received the e-tickets by email. However, the booking status in the Qantas app shows "Waitlisted", and the Cathay Pacific website also displays "Waitlisted".
Does anyone know of an email or contact I can use to escalate this issue again? I’ve already emailed
[email protected], but my ticket status remains unchanged. As usual, customer support was unhelpful, they told me to cancel the ticket and offered a full refund. I immediately declined and asked them to leave the booking as is.
