Re: QFF Accounts Hacked or IT stuffup? "Your Frequent Flyer account has been locked

Do you have any Phone apps that have your QF Credentials and automatically log in periodically? (eg things like TripIT, points aggregators etc etc).

It's possible one of these is repeatedly attempting to log in using out of date credentials and therefore locking you out.

Great advice - thanks

I have tripit, but have had it for a year, but then again an upgrade could have made tripit more aggressive. I'll leave it unchanged and lest see. it hasn't given any error message - now I have a new PIN.

Overall it seems that this hasn't hit any/many members - which is not what I expected following the comments by the agent this morning. hmmmm

I think the TripIt behaviour referred to is when you give it permission to 'do its own thing' - it interrogates your emails etc to see if there is anything to load (pant, pant!!). If you haven't done that, it won't be the problem.

I have Tripit, but it does what I tell it to do.
