...to SMS to myself.
Few secs response time did give me a scare though, thought it would be asap.
At least email the BP worked so I have that.
No 3 vertical fits anywhere to be seen on my BP.
Now to see what the SMS BP looks like.
No 3 vertical dots mean I can't save it to wallet.
Edit:
Maybe also pays to turn spam filter off on phone if you are expecting a BP SMS from QF.
My trip in the QFF app disappeared.
Was there for months.
Rule of thumb, always do write down your QF trip PNR to note pad on phone, don't rely on info in app.
Was able to retrieve booking details from email, but it's a pain.
App is ok, but time consuming.
This is all because QF say they are removing BP printing at the airport...
Malarkey really.
Ok, lesson learnt.
Waffly off.

AustraliaPoochie posts can be a little cryptic. But always solvable.

Basically you can't rely on a QF SMS to get your BP into your (iphone) Apple Wallet.

But you can get it from the QF app. (although it's time consuming.)

?
Cryptic? Try near unintelligible waffle.
One should play the ball and not the person but it’s difficult to understand when English is presumably their second, third or fourth language.

Thank you for taking the time to post your heartfelt views. I feel enriched for having read them.

So where are you off to Poochie? I thought you were sworn off flying for a while until things settled down. But it will be great to get back in the air.

Will let it be short and sharp.
And let others learn when they face the same problems when it arises in their case re QFd OLCI.
BNE - ADL.
Andoid phone.
No iphone owned.
No access to printer.
Trying to do all methods of sending copy of my BP to myself.
Sending
BP to myself by SMS and email.
QF 5.5/10 in this case.
Best of luck the next time anyone tries OLCI eith QFd.
((QF app had lost my this - my current booking!)).
Sorry for the waffle.

Is this because you still have that phone that you can't seem to install the QF App on?

honestly that would solve (most) of your problems. It all sounds horribly convoluted with what you're trying to do.

plus IIRC there's still kiosks (and staff) at BNE for you to check in with.

@AustraliaPoochie — I'm assuming you're using the "Forward Boarding Pass" option in OLCI to send the boarding pass to yourself via SMS/email.

This would normally send you a link that opens the browser on your device and displays the boarding pass for you.

Which bit is failing?
Are you not getting the SMS/email?
Or does the link not display the boarding pass correctly when you tap on it?

I have access to OLCI for a flight tomorrow and just did a test - the SMS came through instantly (I'm on Telstra) and the e-mail came through within about 30 seconds.

New phone.
Now got the app.
Optus X delight will let the app stick.
After checking via website, and then putting PNR back in app, it sticks.
But don't know why it said "no current bookings" at 4.31pm yesterday, just as I was about to check in.
Was the seq28, ie 28th person to check in.
Edit:
For dyllar, the SMS would not stick either, always got a message, ((your session has timed out, please log into your account again)).
Email is ok though.
Apologies to Frankie and others.
Yes I know I am weird, even got a mug/cup saying so.
And waffly.
Final: Google Drive is my new best pal.
