QF7 - No Seat Map Available

Hello All,

I have my 1st question for the forum, I am booked to travel on QF7 Syd-Dfw on 15/08 - currently both Qantas Manage My Booking and Expert Flyer do not have seat maps available for the flight. I was able to review my seat selection about 2 weeks ago, but have tried for the last 3 days with no luck. In Qantas Manage My Booking, it reverts to the old generic seat selection (aisle or window). In the ExpertFlyer iOS app, it says there is no seat map available.

I am a QFF member, but only bronze, I am flying in economy.

Is this a usual occurrence?
 
Shows up ok for me in ExpertFlyer on iOS. I can't comment on the QF MMB issue for this single flight. I've only had that happen where there was a technical stop and change of aircraft... which is not the case here.

Perhaps give the browser version of Expertflyer a go? If not, is there something I can check on it for you?

I'm able to see a seat map of Y in expertflyer at the moment. Maybe try again?
 
Perhaps a certain percentage of the seat map has been allocated, hence the map not showing.

Will try again in a coupleof days and see if issue with QF Manage My Booking is resolved. I am now seeing the seat map in ExpertFlyer, I think that error was mine.
 
I had this issue earlier in the year for a SYD-HKG-SYD flight and it was like that for a few months, I got to chose the seats I wanted at OLCI however which worked nicely.

If you're wanting to chose a better seat, maybe call them up and ask them to move you!
