QF59 BNE-SFO starts flying Feb 9, 2020 3 days per week. Bookings have opened.

Just secured 2 x J for later in Feb so worth checking availability if you've been looking to get to/from the US.

Not sure when bookings actually opened. I checked yesterday several times and the flight number wasn't there. This morning I got busy with actual work and only thought to check again around 10.30 and there they sat, just waiting for my click.

Ha ha. Love it!

I was trying at 10am yesterday for ORD-BNE awards but couldn’t see the route. I did show for $ bookings though.

Then someone in the FF Facebook group said QF told her they aren’t released for that route yet.

I had a quick look at a few dates this morning (just for interest's sake) and didn't see that route at all in the classic rewards search.

As a NB I just had a look and first dates I picked showed 2 J classic awards-13/2 BNE-SFO,5/3 2 J awards SFO-BNE.

96k QFF + $476 for BNE-SFO oneway.

Same flights don't show up on AAdvantage (yet).
They do show up on Alaska Air, 55k + 93 USD oneway.

You can buy 56k Alaska miles for $1182.50 USD.

So oneway in Business across the Pacific for 1275 USD, or ~1830 AUD

I also checked my AA account and 2 J awards also turn up on the days I looked at but via MEL.
