Am currently sitting onboard QF30 on my way from LHR-MEL.

We have been diverted to DRW due to a medical emergency.

Have no idea if the crew will go over hours which will mean a loooooong delay!!

We made a rapid descent approach into Darwin which was a bid weird.

Will keep you posted.

Currently showing as delayed for just over 2 hours on the QF page:

QF30 Hong Kong Melbourne 18:55 (Tue) 18:59 (Tue) 05:55 08:15 Delayed
Hope everything is ok,

Should be taking off in 30 minutes!

Sadly the CSM just invited the Dr and his wife up into F for the DRW-MEL leg.

Would not usually have bothered me but they have a screaming child!!

From MEL TO HKG there were only 2 pax in F!

Now there are 7!!!

Just goes to show that when it rains it pours. Hopefully the screaming child will calm down soon, or maybe you could ask for a quiet seat in J so you can get some sleep? :p

At least that would get the message across that the F cabin has been violated by unacceptable noise.

Now Reggie this wasn't the trip you were meant to be travelling in whY coz you lost a bet with your son was it?

If it was it looks like a dose of karma for 'cheating'. :p  ;)
