Just downloaded the AOT app to keep track of flights, and saw that QF24 is indicated as cancelled?

Anyone know why or is it an app glitch?

QF24 is operating pretty much every second day now for this week only.

And here's hoping yesterday's QF24 was not meant to be operating today's QF23.

Gad, I hope its not a sign of things to come JK.
They managed to drag an A330 from somewhere.

I was in 23J both there and back and the same quirks were there in IFE. The controller i
Is rusty. Not as bad as 23AB though which just flicks through movie channels.

Flight too long for that aircraft.

. . . . . . . Flight too long for that aircraft.

I agree - it's like riding in a sardine can; I loved the flight I took in late January on the 747 - managed to select a PE bulkhead seat, absolute bliss. :)

Stupidly I booked another of these in June.

QF could be gone by then.

I'm in the same boat 99% of the time, John.

Usually I head back to AU in winter for a change of season (yeah, crazy huh) and if possible, for about 2 weeks over Christmas & NY.

I made sure I got the 747 last time, but often timings don't allow me that luxury.

Ahh the life of a FF - 3rd World Problems when you worry about the type of aircraft you're booking. ;)

I know people like to call it a 3rd world problem and that is fine. Up to them.

I don't know why but 43H on a 747 is comfortable compared to 23J on an A330. I enjoy the 747. I loathe the A330 for that length of flight.

Perhaps I need to start getting used to Emirates 777 with 10 abreast seating or God forbid Jetstar in any configuration.

Have done Death* once on the BKK-MEL route; never again.

I too have been toying with the 777 option, but that 10 across option is holding me back.

I did the EK A380 BKK-HKG earlier this year, and wasn't overly impressed with the service; maybe the flight wasn't long enough, but like the one time previously I flew with them PVG-BKK, it just left me cold.

Or I'm becoming a jaded FF these days . . . . . Heaven forbid!!!! :O
