QF12 or QF012 - I'm confused!

Have booked a flight From JFK through to SYD on 18/09. I booked originally on QF12 out of LAX which is the A380 but now I"m on QF012 which I'M told is a 747. Is this correct?

QF012 and QF12 is the same thing, it looks like you have had a change of aircraft type. I would check your pre-allocated seats if you have any!
