Hi all,

Just booked SYD - LHR in F. Having a look at seat selection, to the left there is a row of single suites and to the right there are 2 suites next to each other. I'm flying with my better half, are the suites like SQ where the two next to one another can combine together?

Also - the booking allows me to chose seats from SYD - LHR and LHR - SYD. Though doesn't let me chose seats from the connecting Dubai flights. Is this because the same plane is used and we just wonder the Dubai terminal for a couple hours?

Cheers

With the latter, you are booked SYD-LHR & LHR-SYD so that's the the seat selection for each entire one-way journey.

If it were different you would be selecting for example, SYD-DXB and DXB-SYD.

As for the Layout, it is really three columns of Suites.

See "Zone A" of the seat map: http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flying/inTheAir/ourAircraft/A380-14F64J35PY371Y.pdf

Other than that, see this thread for advise on seating for couples: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....lyer-program/qf-a380-f-class-seats-45577.html

1-1-1 is the answer. The 2 seats on the right share an aisle, the A seats have an aisle to themselves.

I like the A seats - In QF F there is no real advantage to sitting across from each other - you can't really see each other let alone talk, and the A seats have their "own" aisle. Just my 2 cents.

And yes, if you are booked SYD-LHR/LHR-SYD you will not get to choose different seats SYD-DXB/DXB-LHR through the website.

Thanks for the quick responses!

I've had a read of the posts in other threads and selected 3A/4A for both of us.

How does these suites compare to SQ? I've not done QF F ... yet. Only SQ.
