That’s because my photo is of the Western Stand - full sun all day. Not popular at all.

Same today (most of the people [like yesterday] are above me in the Eastern Stand.

Smith gone after facing only 10 balls and Labuschagne just gets his century. 3/370. That’ll teach me to be away from the table

Yes, it’s been a great first session. Labuschagne currently 143no and Wade plundered 59 already. 3/466

It’s tough at our table - finished our third magnum of Taylor’s

Sitting next to two famous Australian cricketers a my the first sitting of lunch (Mitchell and Dizzy)

Wait until you see what’s the wine with mains...it’s currently been decanted and sitting waiting for us...

In the meantime, we cracked a Taylor’s Chardonnay for the entree.

I pushed myself to drink Riesling and Chardonnay in the past 2 days. Yesterday’s Riesling was the standout for me (on the white wing front). The HoG was the best over the 3 days, but pound for pound the Taylor’s 2012 today and Henschke 2010 yesterday were up there as well

So a steallar last session from the Aussies - Pakistan are 3/75 (last I looked) and still trailing by 280 IIRC. Should finish tomorrow

Sad when a day finishes and one realizes it’s back to the grind tomorrow (kids, mowing, housework and organizing my trip to MEL in Monday). Such a great time with clients, old friends and new friends. Even better when one has prospective clients from an enjoyable day with like-minded cricket aficionados

One think that really makes an event is the staff. A shout out to Jacob, Vish and particularly Phoebe for looking after us so well over the past 3 days - needless to say that Phoebe was well topped and Jacob was invited to taste some of our wines so he would be able to describe to future guests.
