QF website is a nightmare

I dont use twitter. I tried to but it defeats me. Surely a phone call should sort it without being a twit?

Tweets are public - companies want issues so published sorted quickly so those who are on the twit desk tend to be more proactive and have greater abilities to fix issues.

Qantas website - a bit crook?

Anyone else having problems with the website at the moment?

Was a bit dodgy yesterday, during login, another login type selection kept popping up.

Now, not just that, but the formatting during the award booking pages is screwing up selecting correct options (ie: continue button becomes obscured, etc).

Just me?

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

No not just you - had problems yesterday and still a bit dodgy in some places today as well (bid-upgrade page not working for me).
At least I can now login, but Qantas Business Direct shows no bookings despite using it to book my current flight on Monday.

Perhaps connected to the hack in the US yesterday/last night?

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

Same here! I think its related to the recent ddos attack on DNS Servers.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

I was having issues as well, was getting frustrated, nice to know there was a possible reason.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

I am still having issues if logged out with inactive session multiple times. I think Qantas are still having issues with the Business Direct login.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

Not sure if related, but the QF points and SC calculator also appears to be a bit 'off'...Qatar J SC earn is halved according to calculator. Maybe an unannounced enhancement...

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

What we all get annoyed about on the Q site is having to click PE/J/F to see what is available, its about time they updated to show all classes in one go like many other airlines do.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

The problem(s) with the website cleared up for me late last week ... coincidental with the "re-branding" - so, maybe there was a connection with that.

At the moment? It remains a dreadful website. Come on Qantas this is your retail store front. The website cannot even remember home location for flight bookings, still assuming that the whole world lives in Sydney. How about the new amateur Dreamliner presentation, it looks and reads like a high school IT project. After you get boarding passes using online check in there is no link to return anywhere. I could go on but it seems that Qantas just cannot get it right.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

The most annoying thing is that it is JUST SO SLOW.

Honestly, it takes forever to even load a page before we get to the litany of other challenges.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

Buttons you can't click, 404 errors, constantly having to re-enter the same info. Multiple browsers. Site continues to be a joke. I've just given up on another booking and will look elsewhere.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

Would like to be able to search for QF J seats on QF9/10 award seats filtering out everything else on the QF website but this is not possible. It's a time consuming task to find what one wants.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

I think this post is a complete waste of space. Everyone on this board knows about the Qantas web site. I am waiting for the thread "Qantas website marvellous" to pop up which would excite me no end.

I wouldn't say marvellous, but having just started more frequently using it after VA, it seems like a dream to me. The one thing that is annoying (or perhaps I just haven't worked out how to easily do it), is to swap between business direct login and QFF log in. Seems the only way is to log out and then log back in again, even though business direct has your name noted in the top right corner I haven't been able to find a way to check your QFF info whilst logged into business direct.

Re: Qantas website - a bit crook?

Anyone finding the modify button broken? It won't respond to any clicks.
