QF SG member flying Dash8-400 from CBR to SYD... do I still get 1 soft bag backpack..

... hand luggage that can be brought onto the aircraft for overhead storage?
Or do I have to relinquish my bag as I step up the mini steps onto the aircraft and the bag gets taken to the cargo hold out the back of the plane.

If your carry on is small enough you'll be allowed to take it on board other wise you'll hand it over at the stairs and retrieve it there upon landing. AKA Premium Hand Luggage.

If you check it at a desk and the person says it's too big then you'll be required to check it in there.

Now that will be chilly! Hope there's a good coverage for you. Quite a pleasant trip from CBR. Haven't been there for ages though did do a day trip to Thredbo not that long ago before the season began.

Murrays are pretty good. If we have time we use them to go to Syd rather than flying esp on Dash 8.

Can't remember who used to fly into Cooma.
