QF Seat Selection Error

Seems the error has now been fixed.

Perhaps a different issue, but I just tried to check in for a flight and it told me I had only 1 seat to choose from! I'd looked not long ago at seats and there were plenty available, so I stalled and dropped out of the check in process.

Now if I go back to manage my booking I can see dozens of seats available, but if I want to select one I have to pay the $25 fee. To top it off, it says I'm checked in already even though I haven't got a boarding pass.

Probably my fault for dropping out of the check in process, but I didn't want to get stuck with a coughpy middle seat if there were others available!

strange. Is this a domestic or international flight?
I've just checked in for tonight and it let me do it twice, for a domestic flight.

International. I think you only get one chance with International check in.

I'm on the phone waiting to see if they can help sort it out or if I just have to do it at the airport tomorrow.

Probably under airport control at this point and you may have trouble with help from res, but you never know I guess!

Yeah, almost an hour wait to be told they can't do anything :-(

Not sure whether it's worth taking a punt and paying the $25 to get a seat as the one they've put me in is less than ideal. Should have just paid in the first place and not taken the risk of waiting until check in.

Oh well.

If it is under airport control, I am fairly sure you won't be able to use MMB to pay for seat selection.
