Sorry for creating a new thread, but I'm just getting a little concerned regarding a QF ticket reissue.

Due to a schedule change, I needed to change some QR sectors of a one world award. This was done earlier this afternoon. I did stress to the person on the phone that they would need to reissue the ticket asap due to the QR problems, but they didn't understand what I was talking about.

There's still no sign of the reissued ticket. At what point should I start getting concerned that QR may remove the sectors? The flights are to and from central Africa with no real backup options, so it's pretty important that it gets processed correctly.

If it's central Africa with very few QR options I would be calling non stop to ensure it gets done ASAP, particularly places like ZNZ, JRO etc.

Thanks. Destination is EBB. I've just called again and spoken to somebody who was a bit more helpful. They seemed to understand the urgency of the situation, however after half an hour said she couldn't get through to the right people and would try again in about an hour. It's now been about 12 hours since the changes were made.

QF has really become just awful. Spoke with someone via online chat who told me it had been ticketed, and the person I spoke to on the phone had managed to do it manually. No ticket number was showing, so I queried this and he just said over and over "i've told you, it's been ticketed, call reservations if you don't believe me". Called reservations again and spent half an hour on hold before someone came back and told me that they couldn't manually ticket it because it involved carriers other than QF. They did say that they had "called Cathay Pacific" which then changed to "called all the airlines" and "they've promised not to delete the sectors". Time will tell I guess. I have literally wasted 5 hours on this today!
