QF Platinum (partner platinum) use on EK flight query

hi, just nominated my partner for P1 Partner Platinum Status.
She's on an EK metal and EK flight number in one week.
As she will not have her QF Platinum card as the card takes a few weeks to be issued, any tips to avoid any hassles on Emirates lounge access particularly in Dubai and Brisbane?
Is it a matter of just adding her QFF number to her emirates booking and the system will recognise her Qantas Platinum status?

Definitely add the FF number to the booking and there shouldn’t be a problem (recheck the booking afterwards to make sure it sticks - you should do the update on the EK website not the QF one). Also get a hard copy of your partner’s profile page from the QF website and they can always show the QF app too.

They may even get a “welcome back to Emirates” greeting once on board, which EK cabin crew like to do

If your partner has a smartphone, download the Qantas app and log in. You will then have the platinum card in electronic version via the app.
