QF Platinum One - how successful has it really been?

It's my view it has been a great sucess, I think that this new level has made it easier for Qantas to identify their top flyers.

I think before P1 there was just a "group" of Platinum members and it was really hard to tell the "Just Platininums" with SC ranging from 1200-2400 apart from those with very high SC levels 2400+ (well 3600+ in QF's view).

By making the new P1 level, the cream has risen to the top, as a manner of saying it. Any it is very easy for the on board staff to identify the P1's and single them out for that extra attention.

Also for the people in service centres the general response that I get is "oh your a P1, not a problem"
