I have the body of a god, but unfortunately it is the shape of Buddha. I haven't flown QF F for a couple of years, and I am doing so in a few months to LAX.
The last time i was given the biggest PJ's they had, and when I put them on I looked like porky pig with his guts sticking out, therefore I was wondering if anyone knew what the biggest PJs they have in F.
I am just over 120kg; don't need comments about losing weight and i know that porky pig is a good description so just info on PJ's thanks.

The PJ's come in two sizes - and I doubt those have changed in the last few years.

If you are concerned about them not fitting; it may be better for you to BYO comfortable oversuit to wear in flight.

I face sorta the same issue - I take a nice comfy T shirt rather than wear the QF top.

Absolutely BYO and on return take the QF PJs to a Salvo store so they can sell them for a few bucks and maybe a hungry kid might get a meal that she / he would not otherwise get.

EG - Here is the start of the next shipment of SQ F PJs headed to either Salvo store where they are sold or these might be going to St Vinnies who distributes them to homeless or others as they require them in the dead of winter.

oh I'm sorry I thought this was a post about Princess Fiona - she can usually be found in 1A :D

(and one does not ask a lady, let alone a Princess, about her size)

My personal experience is that the PJ sizes seem to be smaller in recent times than, say, about 10 years ago when I first started flying in F. I used to request a medium; now a large seems more appropriate.

... and that's not because of the obvious reason.:p I've managed to stay similar in body habitus over that time, I promise.

My experience last year was that the mediums were a little short in the legs and arms. But that was before the current crop of PJs

I think the largest is the L/XL size. It was quite comfortable for me but I was around the 112kg mark when we travelled QF F.

Funnily enough, I just tried on the new F PJ earlier today, given to me by a dear AFF-er. The M/L size fits me perfectly and I'm a size 12. I would say they are on the smaller size so go the largest. I also tried on the BA F PJ and the size of the top/bottom were a lot bigger/longer but the QF's material is better.

There are two sizes of the new Martin Grant PJs

M-L and L-XL

The larger ones fitted some quite large gentlemen on my flight yesterday.

The smaller one fits me comfortably, and the larger one is baggy, but still fits with comfort.

Thank you all for your replies.
Haven't flown QF First for about 8 years and the large ones fitted me then (just) so will just suck it up and see,
I still have the old grey ones, so will see how those fit. If they are okay, good and well, but if not will take trackys and a large T just in case.

I'm not really a fan of the new PJs. I am 172cm / 75kg - where this fits in the distribution of flyers I have no idea but I'd say I was probably an average flyer in First Class - and the new PJs were what I'd call "form fitting". They weren't super uncomfortable but I wouldn't race out and buy them either. If I was to use a food analogy I read in the paper today about Qantas, the PJs are the equivalent of the schmancy Neil Perry inspired lobster blah blah with a note of blah when all I want is the popular steak sandwich.
