Hi everyone,
I will be flying Melbourne to Singapore in October and I'm planning on going First class (to treat myself for my birthday). I'm not sure whether to fly with QF or SIA.
As far as price goes, there is not much difference between the two. For the flights I am looking at QF is slightly more expensive, but I'll get extra FF points using my credit card, as well as FF points for flying with them, so price is much of a muchness.
I will be able to use the new First lounge in Melbourne which looks fantastic, but I don't know what the First Lounge is like in Singapore (a shared lounge with BA I would imagine). And as for SIA I don't know what their First lounges are like in MEL or Singapore.
I've heard that SIA often tops the polls for best FIRST Class airline. Unfortunately the flights will not be on the new B777-300ER which have their new First Class cabins, which just look amazing.
So which is better - QF or SIA?
Any advice people could give would be really appreciated. Thanks.
